Getting into the Spanish health system
Spain has one of the better public health systems in Europe and several separate doors into it, depending on whether you work, are retired, hold an S1, or are here on a visa that required you to buy private cover instead.
The practical point most people need early: the health policy that satisfies a Non-Lucrative or Digital Nomad Visa is a specific kind of policy, and the travel or expat cover you already have almost certainly is not it.
