GlobaliumExpats

About us

A Spanish law firm that answers in plain English

Globalium Expats is the English-speaking arm of Globalium Extranjería, an immigration law practice based in Fuengirola, on the Costa del Sol. Every case is supervised by a registered Spanish lawyer — not a relocation agency reselling legal work.

Alberto García López

Immigration lawyer · ICA Málaga, reg. no. 11.441

Alberto is the firm's responsible lawyer, registered with the Ilustre Colegio de la Abogacía de Málaga under number 11.441. He supervises every file the firm takes on — visas, residence permits, nationality, appeals — and personally reviews the legal content published on this site. Where you see the “Reviewed by a lawyer” seal, that is him.

The practice works under Spanish immigration law — Royal Decree 1155/2024, the Startup Act (Law 14/2013) and the underlying Organic Law 4/2000 — for clients from the UK, the US and beyond who are moving to the Costa del Sol or anywhere in Spain. In-person in Fuengirola, Málaga, Marbella and the rest of the coast; online for everyone else.

You can verify his registration directly with the ICA Málaga or see his profile on LinkedIn.

How we work

Lawyer-led

Your case is handled by a regulated Spanish law firm. Legal work is done in-house; specialist tax and financial matters are delivered with vetted partners, clearly flagged as such.

Straight answers

If your case is weak, we say so before you pay for an application. We publish the real requirements — including the parts other sites leave out — because surprises are more expensive than honesty.

Not a government agency

Globalium is an independent firm, not affiliated with any public administration. Permits are granted solely by the Spanish authorities; our fees pay for legal advice and representation.
